Marvin arrived to the Head Butt Hotel in October 2021 from the Duplin County NC high-kill shelter after the passing of his lifelong owner of 16 years. His undiagnosed hyper-thyroid disease was addressed as the priority to stabilize first and then his dental work afterwards. He most recently required an additional dental intervention that thankfully resulted in a negative oral squamous cell cancer diagnosis. He’s now on the road to recovery and has learned to gracefully live among the other residents here since his arrival. Another senior deserving of living out a quality of life for the remainder of his days.
