For each animal who joins our organization, we strive to ultimately find the ideal forever home for them, to enhance their quality of life, and complement each one’s personality and needs. However, regardless of how well we may screen potential adopters with references and home inspections, we are still faced with the unfortunate dilemma, of having to safeguard their well being from most of the veterinary world, given our differences regarding nutritional and vaccination protocols.
We welcome and cherish connecting with and meeting potential adopters and like minded individuals, those who place the health and welfare of pets as the top priority. There is a growing network of Protect the Pets Vets nationwide, who we would happily entrust, to oversee the care and lives of our furry family members; vets who live up to their Hippocratic Oath to “Do No Harm” and who will comply with our contractual mandate requiring responsible vaccination protocols. Our adoption application is clear; we encourage everyone, to educate themselves on this extremely important aspect of pet ownership, taking the opportunity to familiarize the information shared in our Protect the Pets section, while elaborating on the Rabies Control Act of South Carolina, which most people are not familiar with.
Many of our residents at the Head Butt Hotel, will in fact live out their lives here, given their individual needs as a result of neglect prior to joining us, and who now recognize the Head Butt Hotel as their forever home, while our Petfinder’s portal reflects felines and canines both, who are ready to find the forever home of their dreams.
We welcome and encourage visitors to the Head Butt Hotel. We look forward to sharing invaluable information and leading by example to help enhance the quality of lives and health of other animals far and wide.
After we transport your new family member to you, we would greatly appreciate if you could share a review for our organization, on our Great Non-Profits portal.
