Linny is another of the blessed kitties to join us here. In July 2021, he was hit by a car and catapulted into a ditch, where he managed to pull himself up to the street and attract the attention of the good Samaritan passing by, who brought him here. He was hospitalized at ECVR in Wilmington, where their top-notch orthopedic surgeon was able to salvage one leg with three screws, while the other was beyond repair and required amputation. It’s taken him quite a bit of time to adjust to balancing himself with the loss of his front limb, but he doesn’t know he’s special, running around and living his life just as the others, minus the pain he suffered before the extensive orthopedic intervention. He remains the ultimate lap cat and loves nothing more than making himself comfortable and lavishing kisses.
