Moses happens to be one of the luckiest unlucky cats ever to leave Los Angeles County. In the summer of 2017, his rescue angel Beatrice, trapped him, in an extremely injured state with his neck ripped open, after being attacked by another animal on the streets. She managed to solicit the financial support from a local rescue there who was able to provide him with the necessary lifesaving intervention as well as finance her flight with him cross country to us. We continued to oversee his care, including his neuter and extensive and necessary dental intervention. Had he not come here, although he managed to fend for himself during the first decade of his life, given his fiv + status and extreme injury, he faced immediate euthanasia had he not joined us. He’s adjusted well to indoor life here and spends time enjoying the safety and comfort of our catio, and has wno interest going anywhere near the outside life. He’s a big boy, with a snarly grin, who’s found a girlfriend Squirt, and made countless friends here.
