Shane, known as “Sink Sink”, arrived to us with Pinky and his two siblings, Shaun and Shayla, when their owner and our friend Katia, found herself with health issues that necessitated downsizing her furry family. Their feline mother, adopted by Katia well over a decade ago from the Greenville County SC shelter, was unknowingly pregnant at the time. Hence the unexpected surprise births of Shane, and the other siblings in her New York City apartment, where they’ve lived their entire lives together. Since joining us here, Shane has had his senior Wellness exam, bloodwork, titer, and dental intervention with 8 teeth extracted. He is a bit skiddish around humans, but very cat friendly, and has found a nightly sleeping spot opposite Pinky, taking up one pillow on the queen-sized bed, they have taken over to have close human contact during nighttime.
